Record Search Policy
Search of Records
All record searches on-site are to be conducted at the department which handles that
particular case type. Please contact the appropriate Court Branch listed below.
Older files are stored off-site and must be ordered.
It takes approximately 10 business days to receive files from the off-site facility. For files that need to be retrieved from off-site storage, there is a $4.00 retrieval fee for each file requested
All requests can be submitted by fax, mail, or at the counter at each Court location.
If You Have a Case Number
If you have a case number and you would like to see the file, submit this form, M-5 to the Court. You can submit the form either by fax, by mail,
or in person at the counter.
Over the counter requests that involve more than 3 names and or case files will need to be left at the Court for processing. All requests left at the Court will be conducted on a first come/first serve basis and will be completed within 10 business days.
If You Do Not Have a Case Number
You can research our online case index or submit this form, M-6, for the Court to provide you the case number. The Online case index only lists cases filed after 2000.
If your case was filed before 2000, you can look through the manual index books located at each branch office. Or submit this form, M-6, for the Court to provide you a case number.
If you need to have the Clerk research for you, the search fees listed below will apply.
Photocopying of Records

If you have a case number and you would like copies of the file, submit this form, M-5.
The Court requires five (5) business days to complete requests for photocopying. The fee for copying is $0.50 per page. You can submit your request for photocopying either by mail
or at the counter with an installment payment, check not to exceed $20.00. If the fee for photocopying exceeds $20.00,
the customer will be required to pay the additional fee before the copies are delivered. If the copied documents are to be returned to the customer by mail, a self-addressed
envelope with postage prepaid is required.
If the appropriate fees are not attached or your requested information is incomplete, the request will be returned to you.

- Copies of Documents: $0.50 (per page)
- Certified Copy: $25.00 (per document plus copy fee)
- Storage Retrieval Fee: $4.00 (per case)
